Dear Friend o’ the Dough,
Are you excited about muffins? We are! The Dough Sisters are delighted to announce our next bake sale on Saturday June 13th with pickup from 12-2 p.m. or Sunday June 14th, with pickup from 3 -5 p.m. And we’ve been hard at work in the test kitchen (oh, how we sacrifice ourselves), creating some scrumptious muffins for your consideration. First, the sweet muffins. Blueberry muffins scented with vanilla and topped with a sugared crust. Or perhaps you’d prefer our chocolate chip muffins, absolutely studded with semi-sweet chocolate. The kind of scent in a kitchen that makes us gather around the oven, waiting for these beauties to finish cooking. And how do you feel about savory muffins? If you’re a doubter, we hope to convert you! These are essentially a Hatch chile, cheesy cornbread muffin, making it all the easier to portion and serve beautifully with chili and soups. Bonus: The corn muffins are available wheat-free or wheat-full. All three flavors are available at $15 for five muffins…trust us, this is a lot of muffin to enjoy!
We’re also introducing what we feel is the humble oat elevated to hero status. Our cranberry-golden raisin oatmeal cookies are substantial, comforting, and a delight for snack time. We offer both regular and wheat-free versions, both being $20 for eight cookies.
Many of our fan favorites are back, in particular the rosemary focaccia (now even yummier with the addition of garlic), our wheat-free brownies, and the heavenly wheat-free amaretti cookies.
